Our Story
The LinQ remote was conceived when one of the founders wanted to let his mother control her own lighting. Since she could not get up without assistance, she couldn't adjust the overhead lighting, and often could not easily reach the bedside lighting. LinQ was designed as a simple remote that could be attached to a convenient spot so that it would not get lost. To make it easy for the founder to control the lights from the doorway or his own room, it was designed so that multiple remotes could control multiple lights.
MagicLux has been working on the LinQ remote system since 2009. Many ideas and iterations have been built, and a commercial product is close. Most of us are engineers with lots of experience. Four patents have been issued for the LinQ product.
